Bike Auctions

Bikes that have been recovered by the Edmonton Police, but haven’t been claimed, end up at their monthly police auctions.

Bicycle auctions are held the first Saturday of every month (excluding statutory holidays, whereby the auction is normally held the following Saturday) at Fenske Auctions. Information on dates/times of auctions/viewing can be obtained by calling Fenske Auctions directly at 780-474-1247. Auctions are immediate cash sales, and GST is added, so make sure you have enough cash before you make your bid.

Fenske Auctions is located at 12135 William Short Road.

Viewing of the bicycles is held the Friday preceding the auction from 1:00pm to 5pm, and also from 9:00am to 10am on Saturday. The auction starts at 10:00am sharp, and goes to about noon, but it depends on how long it takes to sell the bikes. While the auction is going on you can still wander around poking at the bikes (you just won’t be able to bid on whatever bike they have up on the stage at the time).

Also good to know: it’s CASH ONLY.
