CANBIKE 2 Course

0 comments at 11:56 am posted by Chris C

You feel comfortable on your bicycle, but a little iffy about biking on 109 St?  Or you’ve been biking for years down Whyte Ave, but still aren’t really sure if you’re supposed to be sidling up to the curb when you stop at a red light? Take the CANBIKE 2 course.

This course is suitable to all cyclists who feel comfortable on their bicycles and want to learn more about cycling safely and efficiently in traffic.

There will be a Canadian Cycling Association CanBike 2 Course in late August. CanBike 2 is an 18 hour, on-road cycling course. The course covers the theory of on-road cycling and practical riding techniques starting on quiet roads and working up to more complex situations.

The Kickstand Circus - Cruiser Nite

The Kickstand Circus is a group of people who understand that only a cruiser is truly made for cruising, that sometimes style is more important than speed, and that no amount of “aftermarket cool” will turn your fixie into a cruiser.  You can only ride a cruiser bike on a cruiser nite. If this makes sense, you’re part of the Kickstand Circus.
