Crazy amounts of free bikey fun this week.
Bikeology festival is well underway! All are events are free free free. Upcoming events this week include: Midnight ride, Bikie Movies at Metro Cinema, Salon discussion night about fashion and cycling, Wave Wednesdays, Mocktails on the bridge, Jewelry from salvaged bike parts class, pancake breakfast, and the Repair-a-thon. Those are just the free events run by Bikeology. There are more free events listed that other groups are putting on for free including a Twilight ride by the Edmonton Bicycle Touring Club and the Canada Cup for off road cycling which includes a pre-race kids’ participation event. Go to Bikeology.ca to find details. Did I mention that they’re all free?

The Kickstand Circus is a group of people who understand that only a cruiser is truly made for cruising, that sometimes style is more important than speed, and that no amount of “aftermarket cool” will turn your fixie into a cruiser. You can only ride a cruiser bike on a cruiser nite. If this makes sense, you’re part of the Kickstand Circus.
