Strathcona Community Reuse Fair
Posted by Chris C
Saturday, June 26, 2010
Begins: 10am-3pm
The Strathcona Centre Community League invites you to bring your unwanted household items to our Reuse Fair. EBC will be doing free bike tune-ups and accepting used bicycles and parts.
Reuse Fairs are one-day community events where everyday items are collected and redistributed to groups and individuals who will reuse them. Waste is reduced, reused and diverted from the landfill. We encourage you to join in, clean out your clutter, and drop it all off at the Reuse Fair.
This Reuse Fair will be collecting items for the City of Edmonton’s Reuse Centre, Canadian Red Cross and the Edmonton Bicycle Commuters (EBC) – see wish lists below. Check for Reuse Fair updates on the websites of our league http://www.strathconacommunity.ca and the City of Edmonton http://www.edmonton.ca/reuse
