Give To Live - 5,000 km for the Cure: Vancouver to Austin

Participate in a relay style cycle for cancer fundraising.
GIVE TO LIVE is proud to announce Cycle for Life - Celebrate Life: Vancouver to Austin to raise funds for the fight against cancer. It is an epic 5,000 km relay-cycle that will be completed in about 12 days. We’re planning on leaving Vancouver on October 12th and arriving in Austin on the 23rd to participate in the very cool LiveStrong Challenge with 3,000 other riders on the 25th.
GIVETOLIVE (http://www.givetolive.ca) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds for charities that are improving the lives of those suffering from unnecessary disease and death by inspiring people to achieve extraordinary physical and emotional accomplishments. We aim to have a positive impact on the world and on ourselves by encouraging people to remain healthy through exercise, give of themselves and push themselves beyond their own internally-set boundaries. We are an all volunteer staff with no overhead. In our short two years, we have raised over $800,000 with the assistance of many, including supporters that helped us spread the word. We are asking if you would help us as well by spreading the word about our event through email to other shops and clubs. Thank you for your support.

1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays of the month reserved for Women and Transgendered persons only, 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month open to the general public
BikeWorks North Hours:
Throughout May, BikeWorks North will be operating in limited capacity as we continue renovations. There will be limited bike sales, limited used parts available, and only a limited selection of new parts. For full service, please visit BikeWorks South.
Thursday: 6pm - 9pm
Saturday: 1pm - 5pm
Sunday: 1pm - 5pm
BikeWorks (both locations) is closed for statutory holidays unless otherwise noted. We will be closed on Victoria Day, May 21, 2012.

Bike to the Symphony 2012
Join us for the third annual Bike to the Symphony ride. Tickets on sale now until May 25 for $20 (members, non-members $30 including a new membership). Dress up for the ride or pack your dress or suit and change once we arrive at the Winspear. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed Cyclists! Meet at Da Capo Caffe at 8pm for free refreshments, courtesy Da Capo.
