EBC Bike Art Auction

Begins: 7pm-11pm
The Edmonton Bicycle Commuters’ Society Artists in Residence would like to invite you to a Bike Art Auction.
Calling all bicycle fans:
This night will feature bike-related art of all media including sculptures, jewelry, furniture, photographs and art bikes! We are also excited to feature pedal powered music by local DJs all night as well as installations, projections and all-round bicycle wonderment!
Submissions are flowing in and we are still accepting submissions until September 28 (at the very, very latest) so if you have art that you would like to contribute, please contact us (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) or drop something by the shop at 10047-80 avenue, alley entrance.
all ages, licensed
light snacks will be provided
cash, cheque or credit card will be accepted for auction payment
All money raised will directly support the Edmonton Bicycle Commuters’ Society and/or a lovely local artist.

1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays of the month reserved for Women and Transgendered persons only, 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month open to the general public
BikeWorks North Hours:
Throughout May, BikeWorks North will be operating in limited capacity as we continue renovations. There will be limited bike sales, limited used parts available, and only a limited selection of new parts. For full service, please visit BikeWorks South.
Thursday: 6pm - 9pm
Saturday: 1pm - 5pm
Sunday: 1pm - 5pm
BikeWorks (both locations) is closed for statutory holidays unless otherwise noted. We will be closed on Victoria Day, May 21, 2012.

Bike to the Symphony 2012
Join us for the third annual Bike to the Symphony ride. Tickets on sale now until May 25 for $20 (members, non-members $30 including a new membership). Dress up for the ride or pack your dress or suit and change once we arrive at the Winspear. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed Cyclists! Meet at Da Capo Caffe at 8pm for free refreshments, courtesy Da Capo.
