Bike Art & Knit

Every Thursdayn in winter
Begins: 6pm-9pm

What better thing to do on Thursdays in winter than come together to tinker with bike parts, maybe knit/crochet/quilt something to keep warm, and sip some tea with people making stuff.

For knitting projects, you can bring what you have and we’ll also try to bring some extras to share (yarn, needles, hooks, material, etc.)

For bike art projects, we can use discarded parts like chains, spokes, chain rings, inner tubes, cables, do-dads, handle bars, brake parts, bolts, screws and all other bike bits that are too many to name. BikeWorks has saws, paint, tools, and things to take things apart or put them together.

Event Location: 2nd floor mezzanine, BikeWorks (10047 80 Ave, entrance through back alley only)

Tuesday: closed (reserved for bike building, 6pm - 9pm)
Wednesday: 2pm - 5pm
Thursday: 6pm - 9pm
Friday: closed
Saturday: 1pm - 5pm
Sunday: 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays of the month reserved for Women and Transgendered persons only 1pm-5pm
Sunday: 2nd, 4th Sundays of the month 1pm-5pm

BikeWorks North Hours:
Under renovation. Opening in April 2012.
